This is very common amoung Windows 10 Users.

Windows 10 updates disable some of the must importants driver on Laptop/Convertibles and Tablets. Like for example Wireless Card.

Here some tips to get along with this issues.

1. Reinstalling the drivers.

This is what my friend try the other date when her Tablet was not connecting to WiFi.

Thank Microsoft Windows have a way to reinstall your auto repair missing driver. Here some steps:

  •  a. Access Device Manager (Presing the Windows Key + X)
  •  b. Open Device Manager
  •  c. Select Network adapters
  •  d. Click Uninstall (Never disable)
  •  e. Restart.

After Restarting your unit windows will reinstall your drivers and you insert your WiFi key and Good to go.

2. Disable driver signature enforcement

  • a Click on the start menu and click on the power icon on the screen
  • b. While pressing "Shift" key on your keyboard, press restart on your screen.
  • c. It will take you to a blue screen that says "Choose an option", there please select the "Troubleshoot" option
  • d. Click on Advanced options
  • e. Click on "Startup Settings"
  • f. Click on restart on the menu that prompts.
  • g. Your PC will restart and prompt you a blue menu with several options and numbers, press on your keyboard the number "7" to select "Disable driver signature enforcement"

Your PC will restart and work normally, this will resolve your connection issue.

3. Download driver to a USB stick

In the scenarios that driver had been "Accidentally" disable or are missing. We could try to Download to a USB driver fron another computer and installing on the one that are missing.

4. Refresh your PC

This is the last steps it a little big longer do.  Just do a Refresh without removing your files. This are the steps:

 a. Go to Settings

 b: Select System and security

 c. Go to Recovery

 d. Reset, but keep my files.

That's it.

There is also usually a large zip file on support.acer.com under your model number called "Others" that contains all of the model/platform specific drivers. If you extract that into a directory you can probably find the specific driver subdirectory (e.g. "camera") you are looking for.
