Can I charge iconia A1-840 FHD with an ipad wall charger?

What are the specifications for the wall charger on the Iconia A1-840 tablet?  Can I charge it using an ipad charger or via usb cable connected to a laptop?

    Well, you are sort of in the wrong forum, since yours is an Android tablet instead of a Windows tablet. The moderators will probably move you when they notice...

     

    In the mean time, specs for the A1-840HD call for a DC output: 5.35V, 2A charger, and it plugs into the USB port. The 5.35V part is the tough one (though not really tough), 5V will likely not charge quickly enough for you, especially if you are trying to charge and use at the same time.

     

    USB on a laptop will ot work, since the ports are current limited to 500mA, only 1/4 of what's needed.

    Usually the 2A/10W part is what is missing. I've seen wall warts and cigarette lighter adapters that put out less than 1A/5W. Then it will either not charge or will charge slowly.

     

    Fanatics will find this device very handy.
