I already predicted that I will need to buy a 900 series GPU. But it just doesn't make sense. If I can run 120hz at 2k res, why not 144hz? I'm not a programmer... but it seems a bit fishy and odd. Like a bug more than "my video card doesn't support it".

edit: Regardless, its odd I can't do 144hz even at 1080 with this monitor. That is like a red light there. Its odd, like if its a bug or something, makes no sense.

    Progz,

Can you send me a private message with your Serial Number? I don't think it's a bug, I think it comes down to some bandwidth issues for the number of pixels honestly, but that's what I'd like to get clarification on.

It appears that the GTX 770 max Pixel Clock speed (530mhz) is not fast enough to run the required 587mhz on the XB217HU at 144hz. For reference the Pixel Clock requirements of the XB271HU at 2560x1440@120hz is 497.75mhz.
