hi, pulling my hair out after updating from linux to windows 8. I have installed all the updated drivers and software for my aspire one 725 c70 processor netbook and the fn + f3 function will not switch on my broadcom wireless card. There are no error messages in device mananger, it says the device is working. I'm stuck. All the ther function buttons are working perfectly. Have I got a dodgy netbook. The wireless worked fine in linux so I guess the wireless card is ok. Is this just Acer not doing their due diligence on certain models?

no one?? its great too, because when i try and enter the serial number for the laptop on the acer website it says my serial number is no good. which is rubbish, because i just bought it a week ago retail.

well i installed windows 7 and the wireless works, so there is an issue with the drivers in windows 8. Looks like the new PC I bought expecting to put windows 8 cannot actually take windows 8, now im going to have to try and return my opened windows 8 cd and see if i can get a refund. What a waste of my time.
