I am trying to remove Windows 8 and install Windows 7 as I am not a fan of the new operating system. But when I try to load windows from my usb or CD I get the error "Windows setup cannot find a location to store temporary installation files. To install windows, make sure that a partition on your boot disk has at least 686 megabytes of free space" I went into the BIOS and changed the boot order but the system never boots from CD or USB.
It seems to ignore the boot order and always go to Windows. I also noticed that in the BIOS there is no "usb" option like I have seen in other system, it only has "Removable Media" when I go to f12 during startup the only option is "Windows Smartboot Manager".
Ideally I would like to boot from usb or cd and format the drive and start fresh with Windows 7, has anyone had an issue like this?
