Hi,

The HDD inside my X3900 hade S.M.A.R.T issues.

I decided to replace it.

I backup all my data to a NAS, the create the media disks for reinstallation

I change the HDD with a new one

Start the 3 disk set ... after finishing the installation, i had an error message.

something like "Windows cannot be installed on the hardware" i only had a reboot button

After rebooting, i had an error message "Windows cannot initalized" and the ony button was reboot ...

After several identical message i gave up ...

Any Ideas?

Maybe the disks that you created were not burned properly? Did you create them before or after the smart error? If you did after, there may have been a glitch in the restore partition of the hard drive that did not translate over very well. You may want to see about getting another set of disks. What country are you in?
