G257HU drivers not installing under windows 10

I have Win 10 Pro 64-bit OS. Windows will only give me generic PnP drivers which are limiting me to a measely 60Hz refresh rate for my 144Hz capable G257HU 1440p monitor that I recently purchased. Windows 10 will NOT allow me to update the drivers available for the monitor I have, the G257HU, because IT ISN'T FREAKING DIGITALLY SIGNED!

I have tried to disable the digital signing verification using two known methods to no avail. (which I shouldn't have to do because it's YOUR product) Until then, I am limited to 60 Hz refresh on a monitor capable of 144Hz. It makes me wonder why I didn't select an ASUS or Viewsonic monitor instead. Acer has ostensibly given me an overpriced 60Hz monitor.

You mods got any solutions?

    Gremlich,

Here are the steps I found that should allow you to do so without issue, I know that I have used them to install some monitors for testing in my area and the steps worked fine.

okay, I've tried that method a few times as well as another, all as admin, but my KB is disabled when the time comes to choose option 7 with either 7 or F77, and that's not your issue but mine. anyother suggestions short of AQcer getting the driver digitally signed?

Okay, NOW it works. How? I went into my BIOS and turned off "num lock auto on". That is the only thing new that I've tried.

Thanx for your help, but do get Acer to get their drivers signed.
