why is there a yellow vertical line on my laptop

There is a yellow vertical line on my laptop.  How do I eliminate this line?  Do you know why it is there?

Let me know the model number of the laptop.

Is it a new laptop? 

 

Restart the laptop and keep taping F2 key as soon as you see the Acer logo to get the BIOS page.

Check if the yellow vertical  line is displayed on the screen.

If the yellow vertical line it could be an issue with screen or internal display adapter or cable connectivity.

 

 

 

If your laptop has a removable battery, you may do a power drain by removing the battery then pressing the power button for 10 t0 15 seconds to release the static charges.

If it come with a non-removable battery, check for a battery reset pin hole at the bottom of you laptop, insert a pin and press and hold it for 4 seconds.
