this morning when I checked the download page for B1-730HD and I saw a new update show up from the 8th (3 days ago now). So I promptly downlaoded it unzipped it and looked at the date, it was from last year (5/12)and it is the update TO the newest version (RC03 to RC05) not an update for the newest version. Just another reason I keep getting depreseed when I think of this tablet and Acer's lack luster support for the tablets. I just read that the numbers for Marshmellow (Android 6) were depressing, well one reason is because companies (like Acer) drag their feet for months (and months) with updating OSs to the last version. I REALLY did not want to root the thing and load a custom mod but it looks like Acer is not giving us any choice if we want to upgrade to Android 5+. It is really sad that we buy these products and the companies just spit on us without upgrades. Always trying to push new products and not supporting people with older products. Wake up, the way to get brand loyalty is to support people after they buy your products. You really can't expect people to want to buy your products if you ditch the one they just bought for the new ones you started making. (/rant) I know this won't change anything butyou never know if one voice will make a difference unless you try.

On a side note: Acer, please fix the update page (not sure about all of them but  I know the B1-730HD is wrong)  .... I am not sure how many people will be tricked by the updates like I was, only to find out it's not even new. Should be simple just change the date on the web page from Jan 8th 2016 to June 12th 2015
