KA270H - No sound using HDMI. No separate Audio - How to solve?

I was just told by Tech Support that ACER does not support the HDMI standard and I cannot get sound via that cable.  I would have to change down to VGA (that's ancient technology and dinosaur 640x480 video resolution).  Ridiculous!  Is there a solution or do I return all the monitors I just bought for my small business?

    Hi SOHO,

I would like to see if I can help out with this, could you elaborate a little more on the issue you are experiencing? Would you also please provide the first 10 characters of the serial number so I can use that to pull up more information?

    Justin,

Does the KA270H monitor have speakers?

How do we get sound with HDMI?  This is kind of important.

    Highenduser,

The serial number is alphanumeric, I just need the first ten characters of that one to look up the features. I believe you provided the SNID (11or 12 numeric), which will also present the features, but that should be sent in a private message and not posted publicly. Smiley Wink

There are no speakers in this monitor.
    Wire sound separately.
