Acer Iconia B3-A20 System Doctor Issue

I have a brand new Acer Iconia B3-A20. I have returned it once to the store already because of an issue with memory. The System Doctor keeps complaining that the tablet is out of memory, even after a complete reset of the tablet and no additional applications installed. If I let it sit for a period of time, not doing anything, the System Doctor complains and indicates I should clean the memory. The tablet seems to be working Ok. I would like to turn off the System Doctor as I find this continuous notification to be annoying. I do not want to root the tablet to do this. Is Acer actually monitoring these discussion forums?

    Good Morning:

Thanks for the tip but disabling is not permitted. I've included a screen shot of the item.

Even with the item stopped the option to disable is not available.

I've tried clearing the data and cache to see if that makes the disable option available.

yes, you are right, i double checked on my smartphone and you can't disable or even turn notification off.

I've noticed that on mine, too. It constantly pesters about memory usage (which is really what the memory is there for, anyway), so I just let it bring up one notification and left it there. Then it wouldn't bug me any further!

I have checked four Android tablets that I have access to and none of them have a System Doctor app on them. Is this an app that you downloaded from the Play Store?

What is the Android build you are using, I see that we have Acer_AV0L0_B3-A20_RV03RC01_WW_GEN1 out there.

Have you checked the play store to see if there is an update for that specific app, by chance?

I have the same problem with this Tab i search how to fix that issue but without root i think is not possible fix it! =\ other issue in this Tab, is not possiible use multi users dont have the option to use it like all tablets with Android 5. Why Acer dont do a update to fix all issues no b3-a20?

The app is part of the Acer additions to the Android OS.  I updated everything on the tablet to the latest version. I was not getting an answer here so I took the tablet back as I was nearing the end of my return period. More thought is needed by Acer with these tablets.

    All,

We're having a hard time replicating this issue. I'd like to request any pictures of video's you could provide, and maybe any further information, what do you use the tablet for? What applications are used frequently? Can you do something that would cause this to happen on your tablet consistently? Is is possible that a certain application (besides the System doctor of course Smiley Happy ) could be causing some problems?

Also, if anyone is in the US and having this issue, I'd like to offer to bring it in and have our engineers look at it. You can send me a private message with your contact information and we can work out the details.

    Thanks,
    Cory

In the B3-A20 support section there is a RECOVERY image for the B3-A20, at leaste the 'WW GEN1', whatever that means. Acer won't tell you, but you have to copy the file (DO NOT unzip it, just copy it) on a sdcard, and the switch the tablet on keeping the ON and VOL- (NOT vol+) physical keys pressed. That should land you in the recovery, where you will do an update from sdcard.
