V5-573 Windows 10 can't download Win10 Intel display driver

I have had Windows 10 for a while now, but there is serious issue with getting Intel display driver. All I get is currently Windows 8 driver and when I download one from site or try to find one from "Device Manager" it says, I have the latest one.

Problem is, that this driver stops working really often, mostly it recovers from that, but there are times, when screen startes flashing and keeps flashing. Later from Events Log I see, that it was because of driver.

Also I am having display defects on my laptop screen. I have external monitor connected via DisplayPort and sometimes, I see, how there happen squares of stripes, icons from taskbar disapear and so on.

This is the message I keep geting. Note, that I installed clean Windows 10 on my computer, didn't upgrade it

windows logo key + x

click on device manager

click on Display adapters

right click on Intel adapter

choose to uninstall and tick uninstall software too

reboot and install the downloaded drivers

Please be aware that windows update sometimes can override drivers version.

Thanks for the link, this driver did indeed pass Windows 10 driver check. Tried to get some drivers from Intel site aswell, but Windows denied all of those, even tho they were ment for this hardware.

I'll try it out and let you know, if I don't come across that problem anymore Smiley Happy

EDIT: And Windows already replaced that drive with "correct" one.. So I'm back to my old driver again -.-'

You need to delete Intel folder on C: and find the setting to block windows to automatically update the drivers.

Well I managed to turn off automatic driver update and install the driver you suggested. It stays at that driver, but, there are still problems, that there some icons on my laptop screen disapear (on taskbar and when I have external monitor connected).
Also sometimes Display Driver stops responding and still getting, that it is Windows 8 driver..?

this looks like an hardware issue to be honest.

this kind of screen corruptions 99% are related to GPU hardware issue (can be ram or GPU chip itselfs), also the drivers errors warning is another sign.

can be overheating or something else, very hard to narrow; there are some test software but this are more on 3D game side.

you can have a look at Kombustor, it's a benchmark software for GPUs but be very very carefull, you can fry your GPU.

Now that you mention RAM, then I did upgrade it, there was so little time between switching form Win 8.1 to Win 10, that I didn't have a chance see, if I would have porblems at Win 8.1.

But I got myself this RAM: KINGSTON 8GB DDR3 PC12800 CL11 SO-DIMM KVR16LS11/8

I did research for this RAM to see, if it is okay for my Computer, since it has 4GB DDR3L installed to motherboard already.

Can you say, if there shouldn't be any problems, with this ram, meaning, it shoud suit well?

you can try to run it with jsut the original ram and check if it still has video issues.

this will narrow a few things; by the way i can't find information if your model has shared video memory or dedicated video memory.

Alright, I have been testing my old RAM out for couple of days now and haven't had this issue anymore. So probably this RAM module wasn't meant for my computer. I stumbled on few Amazon reviews for this RAM module and saw comments, that even tho it is 1.35V, then it isn't same as DDR3L and can cause problems.

Now my next step would be to get new 8GB RAM module. I visited Kingstons page to see, what kind of RAM they would reccomend and "HyperX Impact SODIMM - 8GB Module - DDR3L 1866MHz CL11 SODIMM" seems to be one to choose. Costs about 41€ from Estonia.
Do you think, this would be reasonable choise or could reccomend something else.

What I'm mostly doing with my computer: Programming, running Virtual Machines, Gaming - if this gives some idea, what I would need.

They both are at 1600 MHz, the one I linked comment earlier was at 1866 MHz.
Does my computer support 1866 MHz modules and is there much difference between 1600 vs 1866?
