Predator x34 issue

hi all,

i purchased my x34 in October and it had been running fine with no issues at all,

yesterday I installed black ops 3

first issue I could not set my refresh rate past 58.89Hz .

if I dropped it down a resolution I could

checked my monitor. Osd, that was fine checked monitor properties that was set to 100Hz

so I could not find a fix for this..

now since this issue 

I shutdown my pc after rebooting 5 hrs of downtime my pic would only boot and show half a black screen?

now I did power down checked cables etc.

when it gets past bios the second part of the screen goes normal again 

I have no sleep mode setting turned on so the monitor never goes into sleep mode.

do I need to return this monitor ..?

not sure what to do as it may get worse but also its been totally fine until yesterday 

any help much appreciated.
