USB3 flash drive not recognized as USB3 on V3-574G

When I insert USB3 flash drive, it shows up in explorer but it's not recognized as USB3 device (there will be a comment in details pane that says "Device can perform faster when connected to USB 3.0").
However if I restart the system with the flash drive already inserted, then it will be correctly recognized as USB3 device and it will work at higher speed.
There are no exclamation marks in Device manager, and I can see "Intel® USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller" displayed under USB controllers.
OS is Windows 10 Home 64-bit.
Does anyone know a solution to this problem?
Thanks.
