Feedback for new Predator AG6-710

Just got this a week ago and thought I'd give some feedback to Acer (I couldn't find a way to send them an email, which is kinda odd).

1.   Everything runs great

2.  The overclocking button is handy and it does work well once you upgrade the driver (It instantly crashed the PC out of the box so I had to upgrade the driver).

3.  The case is very cool

4.  The expandable bay in the front is nice

5.  The headset stand is a nice gesture but not very useful in practicality.  The tower sits on the floor and the slide out stand is so low to the ground.  If it was higher it would make more sense.

6.  There is ZERO documentation on the motherboard.  I've looked and looked and can't find any specs or info on it.  I can't tell how future proof the motherboard is, for example.

7.  Can't do SLI with this rig, which is disappointing considering the type of rig this is supposed to be.

8.   PSU seems decent.

9.   The internal wiring is very messy.  Also, the fan for the CPU hangs over the RAM slots, so if you want to add more RAM, you have to take off the side CPU fan to put in the RAM, which feels really sloppy.

10.  The audio input / mic ports have a lot of static.  Fairly sure it is an issue with the PSU actually.

Verdict:  It's a great machine, just wish it could do SLI and was a little more future proof.

    hey rblalock

mine is still in delivery but heres what i think

    6. it has the skylake chipset with most if not all the main items this new generation offers

there is no name or serial on the mobo itself ? that would indeed be strange

    7. no SLI possible ... **bleep** please tell me the reason because i was also planning sli in the future !

    10. are u talking about the 2 connectors in the front panel ?

    7.  Only one pci x16 slot (plus i'm not sure if there'd be enough room in the case anyway)

    10.  yeh.  I switched to a USB headset and the mic is much better now.
