Help!!  My son received the Acer Iconia One tablet (B1-730) for Christmas last year.  For the past couple of months it hasn't been charging fully.  We even went out and purchased a new charging cord thinking that might be the problem.  Still hasn't worked.  It says all of his updates are up to date...but i can't be certain he would have done them all.  I've been reading on the forums that a new operating system upgrade to correct this issue has been developed...but how do i make sure he actually did the upgrade?  Anyone able to assist?  I'm not very fluent on Androids...so making it as simple to understand as possible would really help me.  Smiley Happy  I appreciate any assistance.  Thanks!

connect it to a wifi network then tap on settings/about tablet - tap on system updates and check now

if an update is available it will prompt you to download it.

IIRC the problem is a display bug in Android that can usually be fixed with a battery recalibration. Go through a couple of cycles of fully discharge/fully charge and it should start displaying the battery charge level correctly again. If that doesn't work, try a reset after backing up your data.
