G226HQL No Signal

I added a G226 monitor to my Aspire R3700, it is a content protected dvi-d monitor.  There are dual inputs on the back, one for VGa and one for dvi-d.  The R3700 only has one vga port so I'm hooked up with a dvi-d adapter to the vga port but I only get the message NO SIGNAL.  Hookup via regular VGA is fine.

My Windows 7 Homepremium identifies the monitor as "generic PNP monitor".  Is my problem that I need a G226 driver?  The ACER site doesn't list a 'driver' for this montior.

Also, I'm running a NVIDIA ION video card, version 341.81

I have been having problems finding drivers on the website. It just so happens that I think I found your driver

Go to the driver for the K192HQL and download it. When you unzip it the file is actually for the G226HQL that you are referring to.

A number of the drivers listed for monitors, including the one that I am looking for are not matched up with the proper driver. I think they have some website maintenance to do.
