Switched to "pattern" lock password, and want to return to SWIPE or NONE lock password. NONE and SWIPE options are no longer highlighted for selection to choose lock password.
- note is: "Disabled by Administrator,Encryption Policy, or credential storage."

How to re-enable None and Swipe password selection?

Thanks.

    roughroad,

If you have logged in and cannot switch to those other options you may need to perform a reset on the phone to be able to use it. Smiley Frustrated

You're right. That's the only thing I did.

-After phone reset, I set first screen lock  before installing downloaded apps. Maybe permissions from downloaded apps is its cause.

Another confusing thing, how to set the default saving memory when downloading apps? There's no option to select internal and SD card memory.

    Appreciate your kind reply.

    Thank you.

    roughroad,

I think if you go to settings and click on Storage in the Device section you should be able to select either Phone Storage or SD card as the default write disk.

I do not actually have this model to play around with to see the screens for you, unfortunately.

    Dear Justin,

If I go to SETTING> STORAGE> , it only shows Internal and SD Card memory usage. No option for the default write disk.

Is it a software related issue? I've already had latest system update.

    Thanks.Screenshot_2015-12-28-09-53-49[1].png      Screenshot_2015-12-28-09-54-03[1].png

    roughroad,

That is the only place I could think of where it would be honestly, if it is not there it might be be an installed feature. Smiley Frustrated

    Dear Justin,

Is there another way to enable the default write disk? Or special system update?

I can't install other apps update due to out of internal storage space.

It's a good thing to discuss on this phone model.I don't know if other users also have this issue.

    Thank you.

if you tap on the 3 dots on the top rigt of storage screen, do you have any option available to set default write disk?

if you take a lot of pictures, probably on Camera application there is a setting to set the default storage.

you can also check if any download application can be moved to SD, settings/apps - select Downloaded tab, tap an application and check if Move to SD is available.

    HI Justin,

-No option for Default Write Disk on top right 3 dots.

-Camera has option where to save photos/videos. But saving apps on default storage not included on camera option.

-I can move other apps to SD card. It is annoying, manually transfer some apps to SD card before you can download additional apps. I can't automatically download app updates.

    Any help?

    Thank you.
