i have a aspire 7741z-4643, i need to find out my laptop mfg date, there is a date i can't understand, "ks 101006", does it mean 2010 or 2006? thanks

Hi lcz

 

Your laptop is a 2010 model. 101006 is Year/Month/Date.

 

You can also work it out on the OS you're running. A laptop in 2006 would be an XP machine, where as If it is a Windows 7, it will be 2010 (Windows 7 launched October 2009).
