XG270HU has never allowed me to enable Freesync (Windows 10)

I Bought the XG270HU specifically because of the FreeSync feature. I have a the AMD Radeon R9 270X 2GB video card. I think Windows 10 is the problem. It has never listed FreeSync as an option under catalyst, with the latest driver, the Beta driver and now crimson. And I don't mean it's greyed out. I mean the area is blank where the FreeSync checkbox would go.

AMD can't figure it out. They had me reinstalling everything from safe mode.

The monitor does not have a Windows 10 driver, so I am guessing this is it. I was able to install the windows 8 driver, by disabling the digital signature.

So why isn't there a Windows 10 driver?

And is there a work around?

And yes, I am using the displayport cable.

Any chance you could check your firmware version for me so I can make sure you are using the latest and greatest?

Also, my computer DL'd a new AMD Crimson Software Driver automatically, v15.12. Still no dice.

Your firmware version is good from what I can see, but I did find an article that may have the answer, http://techreport.com/news/27000/amd-only-certain-new-radeons-will-work-with-freesync-displays, which coincides with the product information for your video card on the AMD website.
