Iconia W510, 64GB SDXC is OK, but what about 128GB?

I have seen that Acer claims that a 64GB SDXC card will work with the Iconia W510 and I have used such a card since my W510 was new so I know that works.

What about 128GB or larger SDXC cards? Will such cards work since they use the same SDXC standard (SD specification 3.01) or will they be too large for the Iconia W510 to properly format and address (under Windows 10, it the OS really would matter)? The UHS-1/2 higher transfer speed is of little interest here

While I am gratefull for any input, I value personal experience over speculation. :-)

The W510 has an SDHC card slot, so officially they do not support the SDXC cards. In practice however all the available XC sizes work fine, as long as you don't try a low level format. You can do high level formats, that only initialize a file system, though. You also don't get the XC top speeds either, you will instead see HC speeds even though the XC supports faster.

I haven't got a W510 myself, but the other models I have used all act the same way, as do models from other manufacturers/OSes that have SDHC support.
