Hello,

After 4 years of enjoying and without any problems my system needs to be recovered.

After an unwillingly closing of my desktop my pc shows a error message after starting up.

Citated:

Recovery

Your PC/Device needs to be repaired

The Boot Configuration Data file is missing some required information.

File: \BCD

Error code: 0x000000d

You'll need to use recovery tools. If you don't have any installation media (Like a disc or USB device), contact your PC administrator or PC/Device manufacturer.

Well, so I did the last thing but after one week still no replies. And I couldn't make it work myself.

Alt + f10 didn't work

Are there people who know how to deal with this?

Greetings,

Alex

not good that ALT+F10 didn't work.

    by the way:

    if windows recovery is missing:
    1. download using Microsoft download tool, a windows 10 installation media:
    http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=691209
you need to create a DVD or  (better) an USB flash drive using that tool
    2. At boot press F12 and choose the USB flash drive, once on the Windows 10 installation window, click on Repair your computer.
    3. Click on Troubleshoot and in the Advanced options. First thing you may try is the Automatic Repair.
    4. If that does not help, then select Command Prompt. Enter the following four commands into the prompt.
    bootrec /fixmbr
    bootrec /fixboot
    bootrec /scanos
    bootrec /rebuildbcd
Once the command completes, restart the computer.

    5. If that does not help, go for the first available System restore.

    I'm not an Acer employee.
