Quick backstory: I purchased an XB270HU back in July or so and was having some major issues with it which required me to eventually send it in for repair. There was some problem with the backlight where the screen would get very dim except for a particular spot on the bottom which seemed to get very bright. Occasionally I would end up with a black screen despite the monitor being on. Eventually I was left with a permanently dim spot on the bottom of the screen.
I sent it in for repairs and the LCD was replaced it appeared everything was resolved. I have been using it for maybe 2 or 3 weeks now but have recently started noticing issues. I first noticed it when booting up Fallout 4. The screen was very dim and it eventually went to a black screen. I had to shut it on and off to resolve the issue. It happened a second time but now, there's a permanently dim spot at the bottom of the monitor.
Has anyone seen this issue before? Is there anything that I could do to resolve it? I'm not very optimistic about sending it back for repairs again. I've read about the quality control issues with them and decided it was worth the risk but it seems the gamble wasn't a good one.
