Problem after A500 ICS update (I'm not the only one)

As title said, recently updated my A500 to ICS and I regretted that decision of mine. Been having sleep of death problem every single day since I updated to ICS and happened too frequently. I can say it SoD 2-3 TIMES a day. Previously when my A500 was still in HoneyComb it worked like a charm with no problem at all, just after I update it to ICS and my nightmare started.

 

I did factory reset countless times and turns out it still go into sleep of death with nothing installed, no wifi on, no email sync. So that means my A500 is being screwed by the ICS, literally. Google-ed and I'm surprised there's a huge amount of people with the same problem as mine. But I'm more surprise Acer didn't take this problem seriously and the best advice they can come up with will be "factory reset" which didn't help at all.

 

Are there any other working solution? I don't want to flash custom roms/kernel on my A50. Sadly my warranty is over on last 2 months.

If factory reset didn't resolve your problem, you will probably have to send it to Acer for repair.
