hello people, sorry for my english (I'm using google translator), I have a problem with my w1-810. while using the tablet connected to the charger is not charging, the message "connected but not charging", now completed the battery I can not turn it on because it does not charge even when off. I measured with a tester the voltage of the battery and recharge after a day is 3.4 if you try to turn out the message "critical low battery". the problem occurred after some updates in Windows 8.1 to Windows 10. I provado preparation to update the battery driver, uninstall and reinstall, but have not solved. The problem occurred even after upgrading to Windows 10, so rule out a software problem. do you think the battery is defective? or motherboard that does not charge the battery?

I would think that a problem with the charger is much more likely than a problem with the battery. If you can try a different charger it would help a lot in diagnosing the problem.

Then is likely does mean the battery is bad. Normally this type of error is the cable between battery and motherboard, but you have already reseated it.

Welds battery connector on the motherboard look good. hopefully I can just replace the battery cable or do I need to replace the battery?

p.s. little curiosity. 6 cables from the battery out, red, red, white, yellow, black, black, what is their function? why for the positive and the negative 2 red 2 blacks? what are the white and yellow?

Two reds (+5V) and two blacks (ground) are to handle the extra current, the other two are sensors of some type, I'd assume voltage and/or temperature. The circuit has the power control chip receiving power from the battery (5VDC) or from the USB (through an overload circuit) on the same pin on the chip (IIRC). This means when you have the symptom of working with USB charger connected and not working under battery only there is a problem in one of only three areas. The motherboard between where the USB circuit joins the power circuit and the battery connector (very unlikely); the battery cable (either unseated at one end or the other, most likely, or an internal short or open, unlikely but easy to test); or the battery itself. You have already tested the most likely scenario with the cable unseated. A quick test with a VOM will tell you if the cable itself is bad. Assuming no motherboard issues that just leaves the battery.
