acer aspire switch 10 turn on doesn't work

I bought this pc tab back on May and 2 weeks back i experienced difficulty of turninng on which got resolved by sustained pressing the switch button for nearly 45 mins, then i noticed simillar problem again, this time i have attempted so many attempts but with vain, the charging light displays well, and the tab heat increases just like it's working, further more my version has no battery restarting pinhole. Is there any possible solution? Smiley Sad

    try long press + volume UP

     

    this will enter BIOS, exit dischargin settings and normally it will boot to windows.

     

    plese check about BIOS updates for you model.

    Tried to press the switch button with volume up for nearly 1 minute so many times but still windows didn't boot up, I don't what I have to do next.

    Try it with the AC charget connected.

    If it doesn't work and you are under warranty, give Acer support service a call.

    I put a post on another question which was the same.

     

    There is a fault with the power conenction. I had exactly the same problem. I found that gently smacking the tablet could remake it, but that's hardly a reliable solution, so I sent my Swicth 10 back for a full refund from the supplier.

     

    Bought a Switch 11 now - hope it proves more reliable.

    I bought it from Singapore but I moved to home Ethiopia, can I use the international traveler warranty?

    if you are from Ethiopia, nope.

     

    Traveler works only if you need in warranty assistance in a different country of your citizenship.

    Ethiopia citizen, device bought in Ethiopia, assistance needed in another country.

    Thanks for the advice.  For others this happened after upgrading from 8.1 to Windows 10.  I noticed immediately that the lower left Windows icon on the bottom toolbar wasn't loading any utilites like Weather or Notes only the splash screen and then closing.  I thought a reboot could possibly fix it and everything stopped when I restated.  I did not get a signon logo only a black screen with the mouse icon flashing.  Using the advice given everything started up and Windows 10 is running fine.  Thanks again.  Smiley Happy
