Hi,
I just bought two K222HQL on Amazon a week ago, and one of my monitor has a screen scintillation, and pixels interferences (not sure if that's the technical terms, I'm sorry I'm not an expert on this. Is it what some people call flickering?).
I want to know if that's normal or not.
What I can tell is that while those two monitors are the same in name, one seems definitely different.
- One has that scientillation as if it had a bad refresh rate.
- The monitor options menus differ a bit (one has a "bluelight" option. That's this one that has that, imo, horrible screen scintillation.)
- It's especially annoying on black, and dark grey areas of websites.
I switched PCs/Monitors, matched settings, graphic cards drivers (both pcs share the exact same configuration).
I don't know what to do... Is it normal? Is one a newer version of the other? Should I ask for a replacement?
I can provide Serial numbers found in the screen Options menus if it can help.
Thanks to Amazon, I have till December 12 to ask for a replacement, but getting a confirmation from the ACER community that it is a "real" problem would help. I don't want to have problems with Amazon if they think on their side that "the monitor has no problem".
Thanks in advance for your help!
Both PCs have the same config:*
- Gigabyte Z97x Gaming 5
- Intel 4670k
- 16GB ram G.Skill
- SSD Sandisk extreme
- ACER K222HQL, 1920x1080, 60p Hz
- Same graphic drivers
