On Battery, screen illuminates. When plug into AC screen goes black. I have an Aspire E 15 laptop. I was using laptop plug into TV and altered settings. Now can't get back.

First check that the brightness isn't all the way down on plugged in.

Brightness all the way up on AC. Can faintly see the screen beneath a cloud of black when I plug into AC. On battery is perfect.

Talked to Acer support. Hold down Fn key bottom row while tapping left arrow. Brought screen to correct brightness.
