GSync label on the Predator X34

Greetings all,

I am new here but some of you may know me from the EVGA and ASUS forums.

I have a  Predator X34 Monitor.  Thankfully, I have no issues like the WFS backlight issue or the blue banding issue.  I do have one minor problem.

Whenever I play a game and Gsync is enabled, I have a pretty large, (1" X 2.5") GSync label present in the middle left of my screen. Is this normal?  Does everyone else have it?  I have not seen it mentioned in any of these forum questions or answers.

Does anyone know how to turn it off or get rid of it short of turning GSync off?

Thanks

    Hi Randolla,

This is not the monitor causing this, but your NVIDIA control panel.  You can do the following steps to turn this off:

    • Right click on your desktop
    • Select NVIDIA Control Panel
    • Select "Display" on the top tool bar (not on the left-menu)
    • Deselect "G-SYNC Indicator"

This is actually really useful to tell whether G-Sync is working or not when you set it all up in the beginning Smiley Happy

    Hope this helps!
