A1 810 "gallery stopped working"

on my A1 810 the camera has recently stopped working, I'm getting the error message "gallery stopped working", any suggestions as to how to fix it? I have googled the problem but haven't found any useful solutions. my tablet is 2 years old (no more warranty). thanks for any help!

    have you already tried to clear data on gallery?

     

    settings/apps - select ALL

    scroll to Gallery application, tap it, choose clear data

    reboot your tablet and check if camera works.

    I did that several times, no change. by reboot, you mean turn off power and back on, right?

    I haven't done that as I don't know how but when I googled the problem all the comments indicated that it didn't solve the problem Smiley Sad

    and I would lose everything that's on my tablet, right? apps, photos, etc.?

    yep, you will loose all your personal data.

    if you synced with google, most of applications will be re-installed at the first sync, pictures will be untouched if you stored on the microSD.

     

    can you please report your build number and/or image version?
