Hello. My name is Ryan. I have a problem with the all in one computer I have. It is an Acer Aspire AZ1620-UR31P. When i bought it it has a wireless network, but now it doesnt even recognize a wireless adapter at all. I have no idea what happened. Is there something that can disable wireless all together that maybe i did by accident? Plz any help is appreciated.

Sorry your having problems with your 20" all in 1 Aspire... I just wonder if you are still using the Windows 7 64bit Home Prem or did you upgrade to Windows 10? With that information added it might help aid with getting some help for you.

Either way, Have you looked in your Device Manager and see if it might be in there with a bad driver? If it is you could try and roll your driver back to a good one.

I just looked up your item in the list of computers and there is a driver for 10 so it does look like your computer will work for 10 if that is what your using... I would check on Acer for a updated driver for 10. If not 10, I would look at your software for a driver and reinstall the driver as a place to start. It is hard to know what Software you have installed and give more inforamtion. Seeing it did come with 7 but was on the list to Upgrade to 8 as well as drivers for 10.

Sorry I can't be much help, I don't have a All in 1 to give better help with. I hope this did give a some help with a idea of where to start looking.

yes i have upgraded to win10 and have tried to reinstall the drivers from acer site. but still the drivers never show up. the only network driver it shows is the realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller. It ran on win7 when i bought it and the wireless network dissapeared before i upgraded to win10. it works fine with ethernet cable as that is the only network connection it shows to connect with. and btw ty for getting back to me so soon.

That almost sounds like a Hardware issue. I assume that you have looked in your Device manager already. There are a couple of reasons that it could have disappeared in old Win7, Turned off, If you see it in Device Manager with a ? or ! it has been seen but needs attention. However if it isn't there it could be that it no longer is working for what ever reason. Then seeing it wasn't there when you did the upgrade to 10 it wouldn't show as well...

I will try and look over some Data sheets and see if I can find anything for your Model, Will report back if I find something that may be more helpful.

  • Hello nosibornayr,

Have you tried to load the default settings in the bios setup utility?
