ACER ICONIA W4 821 isn't running on battery

I have bought an ACER iconia w4 821 windows 8.1 tablet. I wasn't using it for about a month but it was kept fully charged. But today when I try to start it by pressing ths ON button, it wasn't starting. When I plugged it into charging and tried to ON again, it worked. But the problem is the battery is showing 100% full, but when I plugged it out of charge it turns OFF and doesn't start until I plug it into charging again and press the ON button. I have tried several times but same result. Exactly whaere is the problem? How will I solve this?

Thanks in advance.

I'm guessing you bought it used, since you don't mention warranty repairs... Typically that type of failure is either a bad battery or a disconnected (either fully or partially) cable between the battery and the motherboard. The 100% reading is probably just reading the charger. Either option requires opening the tablet, first to check cable seating at both ends, then to replace the battery if needed.

If you are still under warranty, then it's best to contact Acer support and get it repaired by them.
