Is it possible to acquire a factory image for my laptop?

I have a laptop from acer that was infected with a virus, but I would like to restore the device back to the factory image. Up until recently, I was unaware that there was not a recovery disc provided with the computer or a recovery partition, is it possible to get a recovery image? Either from someone with the exact same module or from Acer?

Is there no way to get help from Acer, even though it is not in warranty? I have an Asus as well and they were able to provide online chat support for the life of my laptop, what's up with Acer being greedy!

EDIT: I realized I probably haven't gotten an answer because the answer to this is in the KB, however when I attempt to acquire the recovery media for my SNID, it tells me there is no RCD available, so I would still like to know if there is a way to get the image from someone who has the same laptop?

There IS a recovery partition on our systems, unless it was removed by someone.

Well, my only reasoning for saying I do not have a partition is because I do not see one in Windows besides the C partition; However, there is only 285 GB in the C drive and I believe this was a 320 GB hard drive, which means there are roughly 15 GB un-accounted for. I have not actually tried the E-recovery method, because I did not want to create and image of the current system. Here is the SNID: 93902459025
