V3-571G Problem cable, laptop doesnt turn on

Hey everyone,

Few months ago the battery of the laptop stopped loading, and the laptop did not recognise any more the battery (icon like the battery is not connected) so I had to use the laptop plugged all the time but no biggie.

But last week the laptop stopped working at all. Even plugged, it doesn't stay on more than 5 secs. I opened it and noticed a problem about the cable that connects the charger to the motherboard. On of the cable is cut (the black one).

Is this cable easily repleacable?

The 2 last pics are about a piece I'm just curious about. What is this piece?

Sorry for the double post, but browsing the forum I found that actually this cable is a power jack, and I should be able to to get one easily. Can someone from acer confirms its this one:

As you probably noticed with my English I'm french, but currently living in Finland.
So this is the cable I should replace, thank you.
Do you know that is the second piece and it's function? In just curious.

Hmm I mean the 2nd picture is the cable you described in your post and that I should replace.

The 4th picture is about a small thingy, with 2 cables (blue and white) coming out of it. I'm just wondering what it is and it's utility Smiley Very Happy
