    Hi CamG,

I'm very sorry to hear that you're having issues with the monitor after sending it in for repair.  I would like to look into this for you and assist you.  Can you please send me a PM with the monitor's Serial Number?

    Hi there

I have resolved the issue with the very expensive and relatively new monitor. I purchased a new power supply as the original one was found to be faulty. I couldnt wait for a response as i need the monitor for work. I am upset with Acer as the only time i have had a probelm the company is more preoccupied with my proof of purchase than resolving a technical issue with a faulty Acer product.

Any way i paid for the power supply myself. I wonder if Acer will send m a credit note, or repay my costs. It was only £25 but the principal is the same no matter the value.

I have 3 acer monitors and 1 i7 PC TC 710 and this incident has left a bitter taste in my mouth.

    I wait expectantly.

I am pleased to report that I have resolved this problem by purchasing a new power supply.

However, I shouldn't have had to do this, and instead of making users send in the entire unit for 'repair', Acer's first response should be to send out a replacement power supply free of charge.

Like other users I am disappointed with Acer. This is not what you expect when buying a £400+ piece of hardware.

I've been having the same problem with a S277HK monitor I brought not so long ago. The power button is loose which I though was the problem but after reading this thread I tried an old Hipro power supply I had and the monitor started up without problems.

I did wonder if it was the power supply as it was not warm to the touch. I would recommend to first put your hand on the power supply unit, and if it's cold get a new power supply FIRST before sending back your monitor.

Thanks to others for posting their experiences.
