If I recall correctly, when I first bought my laptop, and moved my microsd from a device that died to my new acer I could see the files, photos, etc. on the card.
When it changed I cannot say - only have had a bios update to improve performance (so it says), but when I look (for the first time) in acer care center, mysystem, device drivers, the chipset driver entry has neither a provider, nor a version number.
I trusted the ACER popup to install a real driver - and am still hoping that it did.
Back to Acer Care Center - under updates: no critical, no general, driver update shows chipset driver, more and update button - update does nothing, and more just says chipset driver - provider and version are blank.
Update History: Update BIOS to improve performance, 3MB, Version 1.10, andd the date I installed it.
I am hoping for something simple to wake it all back up, even it it means I need to reinstall OLD firmware.
I have tried reviewing via Device Manager - but cannot find anything that is not "enabled, work properly".
Suggestions welcome!
Michael
p.s. SW5-012 is the device.
