Why aren't there any updates?

I bought an Iconia B1-750 a couple months ago with the prospective that it was going to be updated to android 5.0, which I had read on a website that the update was due "soon". But what bothers me the most is that new models, less powerfull and with lower specs than my B1-750, have been released with 5.0.

Is the B1-750 no longer receiving support? It seems odd that it would since it clearly is stronger, and I understand that it takes time, but, as I've stated before, newer, less powerfull models, have been released with it.

I'd just like an answer to whether the update is due or whether it is no longer supported.

Acer has not announced any plans for a 5.0 update. That doesn't mean they won't do one, just that they have not made such public.
