Hello eveyone, I need help with my monitor. I stop using it for two month but today I used again and now the button to lower the volume is stuck, that will be the fourth button from left to right. Since it is stuck it keeps opening the menu and lower the volume to 0 leaving the rest of the buttons useless because as long as this is stuck the rest do not work.

I don't know what to do, any help or suggestions? any idea if I can disable the menu buttons? I mean the rest of the monitor is fine, its just that button that is totally messing the function of the monitor.

As long as it is stuck the menu is shown permanently on my screen too, it is very annoying. Please help. Thank you.

Sounds like you may have a faulty switch, but here are some steps I would try:
    1. In case you haven't already),check to see if there's something close to your monitor that could be pressed against the menu button.
    2. Reset your monitor to factory settings. This can usually be done by opening your monitor's OSD menu and selecting "Reset all Settings." Or, unplug your monitor from your computer and hold the power button for 30 - 60 seconds. This should also reset your screen.
    3. Lock the screen. Depending on the source of this problem, locking the screen may keep the OSD menu from appearing. Locking the screen is usually done by holding the menu button for 10 - 15 seconds. A padlock or similar icon may appear once it is locked.

If the problem is the result of a faulty switch, the padlock icon may pop up instead of the OSD menu, but the brightness won't increase anymore.

To eliminate the possibility of this issue relating to your computer, unplug the monitor from your computer and see if the OSD menu continues to "pop up". It if continues, you might want to consider purchasing a new screen.

It could also turn out to be the monitor itself has a bad circuit board located at the front bottom of the screen, causing those buttons to "stick".

Hello Sharanji, thank you for the advise. I tried all your ideas but none worked, I already unplugged the monitor and it is definetly not a OS issue. I tried to reset to factory settings and it didn't resolved the problem. The lock screen do not work because I cant keep only the menu button pressed since the other button is always "pressed" too, so the little trick didn't work.

Any other way to lock the screen? since this model doesn't appear to have a manual lock.

I guess the only explanation is a faulty switch, right?

    Thank you.
