My tablet will not charge fully. It will not turn on. After about an hour or so of leaving it on the charger, the LED lights flash between red and blue. I have tried the long power button hold, volume up and power button hold, etc.

For anyone else having this issue, I left it on charge for several days with no luck. Acer tech support wants me to pay $109 plus taxes and shipping to send it in for repairs. I paid $199.99 for it during tax free weekend. So I gave up on trying to fix it that way.

Since I had nothing left to risk, I used the AC charger as well as my micro USB phone charger on it at the same time this morning. And after a while the light didn't start error blinking. I tried to turn it on, and sure enough its on! Apparently the charger isn't giving it enough juice to charge once the battery is so low. I know I've seen other people with the same issue, so try this!! I don't work for ACER, so you are trying it at your own risk.

    Hello Justin,

I am also experiencing the same issue the originator of this post mentioned. In order for my tablet's LED to illuminate and indicate it is indeed charging.  I have to slowy insert/remove the charging tip until it locates some sweet spot. Only then does the LED illuminate orange/amber. I can't imagine that constantly reseating the charging tip is going to make this issue any better. Can I please provide you with my device's spec info in order to receive a replacement  AC adapter?

    Thank you,

    Bobby
