Acer E1-572G won't wake up from sleep nor shut down properly

Hello Acer community!

i have an aspire e1-572g with windows 10 on it. the laptop has 2 gpu's: intel hd 4400 and amd radeon hd 8670. the intel gpu has the acer provided windows 10 x64 driver and the amd gpu has the windows update version of the driver.

whenever i uninstall both the drivers all problems disappear. 

 

1)whatever button i press (except when i hold the power button to force shut down) the laptop doesn't wake up and the first status led the one with the light bulb and the orange wifi led are on.

 

2)whenever i shut it down it doesn't always do it entirely and the light bulb status led is on.

 

any help is greatly appreciated and thank you in advance!

Did this problem exist immediately after upgrading to Windows 10 or was it working for a while? If it was working, it could just be a software issue, have you tried a system restore to when it was working correctly to see if that fixes it?
