I think all R5-572-xxxxx  have the active digitizer.

The easiest is to search specific reference for its exact specifications on the web

Extra questions! Would Surface pen work as well? I'm thinking of buying replacement screen from 572 for my 571, would it connect same way and work with pen?

The surface pro pen works on the R7-572 with active digitizer as they both use the Ntrig digitizer.

From what I found out, new surface pen (that comes with surface pro 4) is compatible with surface 3/pro 3, but pressure levels would remain the same (1024 on pro 4 and 256 on 3). SoI guess the answer is, if your touchscreen have Ntrig digitizer, then Surface pen will work, but pressure sensitivity depends on digitizer version installed on the touchscreen.

Did you ever find an R7 572 replacement screen that has the duosense digitizer?

I am looking for one, and none of the vendors seems to know for sure or only have them with touchT

    Thanks

Yes I did see them on eBay, also on Aliexpress, but much less frequently now than about 1,5 year ago.
