Problems with numpad keys 9 and 4

The last two weeks or so I've experienced something that I've never encountered before. When I boot up, keys 9 and 4 on my numpad takes a while before the start working! I log in using a PIN code with those two numbers in it and I allways have to press one of them a large number of times before they wake up.

I thought it might have something to do with dust or something else under the keys, but once they come to life there's no problem using them. I don't need to press hard or anything, so I've come to the conclusion that it must be software related. Another thing that makes me rule out that it's hardware related is the fact that I only have to press one of the two keys as many times as it takes before they come to life, then both of them work!

There's no assist function turned on for keyboard or mouse that could cause this problem. So before I contact support I would like to know if there's anyone else that have encountered the same issue?

I'm running Windows 10 on a Aspire E5-571G by the way.

    anders_h,

    1. Did this issue exist before the upgrade to Windows 10?
    2. Did this issue exist immediately after upgrading to Windows 10?
      1. If not, you might be able to perform a system restore to when it was working and go forward from there, it could just be an update or something.
