wifi adapter problem

Hello everyone, im new here. Please help, i have a laptop Acer Aspire 5733 i recently formatted it and i installed windows 7 pro 64bit operating system, but now my wifi is not working anymore it doesn't show on my screen whether its on or off using [FN+F2], i have downloaded all the required drivers but it says wifi adapter not available. please help i'm losing hope
