Volume changes between applications/internet

I'm using a V3, and I was wondering how I can keep my computer from switching volumes automatically between applications and the web? For example, when I'm working on Premiere, and then switch to YouTube, the volumes adjusts lower/higher. I'd like to stop this.

    Try this:

right click the speaker icon near clock and date

    select Playback devices

then on the new window, select communications tab

    select Do nothing, apply, ok.

keep in mind that YouTube volume depends on the uploaded video, so you will always hear difference from video to video.

    Hi. Thanks for replying.

"Do Nothing" was already selected. But I checked another box, hit Apply, Okay, and then repeated the process with selecting "Do Nothing."

    Unfortunately, there were no changes.

I know YouTube videos change in volume, but this also happens when I switch between programs. I can watch a video saved on my computer, and then switch to a different program, like Word or Premiere, and the volume changes. Clicking back to the video puts the volume back to what it was before.

    Any other suggestions?
