Problems with Acer Liquid Gallant Duo after system update

Hello,
Since my phone has been updated with the last system update, my phone is not reliable anymore. When i want to charge the battery, it didn't charge, when people tried to call me, the phone didn't ring and didn't register the calls. I was unreachable. When i do a reset, everything works again.
I get a lot of calls from hospitals, so it is very important that i receive those calls. Now, i'm not certain when the phone works and when it doesn't. That is not acceptable. Does anyone have the same problem or does anyone know a solution, because i don't know what to do.

Hi.

No problems of the kind you described. However, there was an issue with a failed sync to the Google account after the update, which resulted in frequent wakeups of the display thus draining the battery rapidly. It was fixed by a reset to factory settings (no cause for alarm from that - after sync with the Google account is correctly finished, the additional apps purchased or downloaded from the Google store were re-installed again, and user-specific modifications to the overall setup, e.g. background, were also re-established - Wlan connectivity provided, of course. Also, Google PlayStore does not forget anything purchased before, and will grant free-of-charge downloads again). I cannot guarantee that in your case a factory reset will be as harmless and effective as in my case - but as your phone is already down and out for the count as you wrote I think it is worth a try.
