I have Acer Aspire 1830 with 3G Modul inside from Qualcomm.

After i insert the GSM SIM Card then i open the Acer 3G Connection Manager but it say "No Available Signal".

I dont know why but at the Device Manager, 3G Modul detected and all driver are installed. Then i see the configuration on the Acer 3G Connection Manager and it fill with the correct APN, User Name and password etc..

My OS is Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit, My SIM Card from Telkomsel Indonesia.

Some body can help me? thanks before.

Usually the 3G module is locked to a carrier in the region where it was sold.

Acer does not provide additional support for changing carriers.

Hi.... thanks for the answer, but sorry for this question.

If you said "the 3G module is locked to a carrier in the region where it was sold.", why i still found the operator name (Telkomsel Indonesia) with correct APN setting in Acer 3G Connection Manager?

    Thanks Before

Your best option would be to contact your carrier or technical support in your region.
