Low Battery Warning is followed immediately by shut-down. How do I get even 30 seconds to plug-in ?

There must be some place to set the time between Low Battery Warning and Shut-Down.

Even if I have the Wall-Plug right next to my laptop, there is NO TIME to plug in before automatic shut down.

thanks, Bob

I have a similar problem for years I would have it plugged in one sac it would show full battery, next thing it would shut down because it was dead,  I kept replacing the power cord, wasnt that, I had purchased 4 different cords over the years. Then from all the wiggleing to get it to charge the dc power jack broke, just got it fixed back to same problem it will charge for maybe 10 seconds then stop, I finally just took battery off and plugged it in, at least I dont have it shutting down now, such a pain though I would never promote another acer. Not without have a good experience that is..lol
