I aam having an issue with a few keyboard keys repeating. Perfect example in the beginning of my first sentence.

Did this issue occur before the Windows 10 upgrade?

If not, try removing the keyboard drivers and letting them get installed again.

 

If it did, you might have a hardware issue that possibly requires service.

yes this is a known problem with this machine R13 Line.. But there are solutions.

 

First of all just to make sure we are talking about the right problem.. check the manufactured date on the machine.  If its before May 2015 you have the old REV 02 or older  Keyboard.

 

To fix repeats make sure you have installed the most recent BIOS  that took care of it for most people.  Get all your drivers updated.  The Acer support tool with an Icon on the desktop makes this pretty simple.

 

But some still had issues with missed characters when typing more than simple stuff.

For me running on AC or without battery saver made this problem mostly go away.

 

 

But since I am a writer and use Word a lot.. 

 

I Contacted ACER about the Warranty KB update to the REV 03 Keyboard released in May.      That took care of the last of the issues.  I love this machine so even with the KB issues.. because they can fix it depending on how it affects you. I am willing to look past that.
