months ago an user had the same error and his HDD/SSD password was set as frozen.

i doubt it's your case, since your are booting without issues but can you check it on BIOS?

press F2 at boot, security tab.

on Disque 1, the second partition 19.53GB is the Acer factory recovery partition.

so it's here, the software probably didn't check all the partition but looks only about some labels.

    what's your issue?

I discovered this application in the Acer files, tried it but didn't know how to interpret it. I had a problem doing my last recovery of my oem with my recuperation usb key : I received a message at 90% : ReBuildSSD.exe--unknown software exception 0x000000d has occured in the application at this place 0x00429d97 click for going on. It's what I did and 8.1 was installed...But I'm intrigued with with this message and with the Hidcheck too! Thanks for your help!

Set as frozen, you mean that it's impossible to access the supervisor password in the bios? Because that was the case. I did something (I don't remember what) and the supervisor password was accessible, just a moment ago.You believe the message rebuild ssd was the reason? Thanks for helping.

in the same tab of supervisor password, you can check the HDD password.

sometimes it auto sets to frozen and you need to create a supervisor account to unlock, so the 2 thing can be related.

Indeed the supervisor password was set to frozen. But not anymore. And I have no supervisor account, but the rights.I don't understand how it becomes accessible, but it does... and eventually  the 2 things are related. Thanks!     Perhaps can you help me too for suppressing the beeps when I enter the supervisor password for entering the bios or are they fixed by the manufacturer?
