BIOS not booting from any drive

Recently i can't boot up from my SSD or HDD, i can only boot from a CD/DVD.

    are you able to enter BIOS pressing F2?

     

    are your HDD/SSD listed as bootable devices?

     

    what's your installed OS?

     

    laptop model?

    Yes, i can get into BIOS but it won't boot without using a boot disc.

     

     

    Acer Aspire V3-771

     

    Kingston Msata 120GB

     

    Western Digital SATA 500GB

    can you please report the boot device list on BIOS?

     

    and the OS installed?

    ok, only the 500GB HDD is recognised, the OS is installed on this HDD?

    No, OS is on the SSD.

    and SSD is missing from the boot list.

     

    if you check on BIOS main page, can you see the SSD listed under SATA or HDD?

    I've been working on this a day now so i'm just going to re-install windows.
